Overview Bacteriostatic Water is a sterile preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol content inhibits bacterial growth, allowing multiple withdrawals from a single vial while maintaining sterility. It is a standard laboratory reagent widely used in research settings for the reconstitution of lyophilised peptides and other research compounds. This product is supplied as a sealed sterile vial, quality tested prior to dispatch.
